Transgenders can open Bank accounts says RBI

Reserve Bank of India announced that Transgenders can open Bank accounts. Recently, the Hon’ble Supreme Court has judged Transgendars topic. In this course the required column to be included in the form of Bank account application along with gender Male, Female and third gender, said RBI.

The RBI issued orders to all the banks that opening bank account a separate column is to be provided for third gender by the bank authorities in their application form.
