Honda Motorcycle Scooter India (HMSI), has launched yet another new Honda Dio H smart scooty. The company has introduced a new top-spec variant in the Dio moto-scooter series.
In the current situation where the trend of electric scooters continues, the demand for traditional scooters has not decreased at all. Top automobile companies are increasing their sales every year. Also new models are being introduced from time to time to attract customers. Recently, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), has launched another new scooty. The company has introduced a new top-spec variant in the Dio moto-scooter series. This scooter named Honda Dio H-Smart has been launched in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs.77,712. After Activa and Activa 125, this is the third scooter to come with smart key feature.
Bookings for the newly launched top-end variant H-Smart are already open. Deliveries of the scooter are likely to start soon. This vehicle will compete with the likes of TVS Scooty Zest and Hero Zoom.
Price of Honda Dio?
The Honda Dio is available in three variants. Customers can select Standard, Deluxe and H-Smart variants. These prices are Rs. 70,211 to Rs. 77,412 (ex-showroom Delhi). The Dio Standard OBD2 Basic Edition is available for Rs 70,211. The Dio Deluxe OBD2 model is priced at Rs. 74,212 can be owned. The Dio H-Smart OBD2 is priced at Rs 77,712 (ex-showroom).
Honda Dio Features, Specifications
Although the Honda company has launched the Dio H-Smart scooter, it has not revealed any details about its complete features and specifications. But according to media reports, this latest scooter will be similar to the Activa. It is likely to have the same features as the Activa. The 2023 Honda Dio scooter will come with a 109.51cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It generates 7.73 bhp of power and 8.9 Nm of torque. Linked to a CVT, this engine is OBD2-compliant and delivers good performance.
The H-Smart Scooty will come with a smart key system. It includes features like Smart Find, Smart Unlock, Smart Start, Smart Safe. It also has an engine immobilizer feature that prevents it from starting with a non-registered key. The Dio H-Smart update may come with an updated instrument cluster.
