New guidelines for Aahara Bhadratha Card (Food Security Card) in Andhrapradesh State

After separating Andhraprdesh State from Telangana region issued new guidelines for new ration card i.e Aahara Bhadratha card.

Andhrapradesh State Civil Supplies Department says the person hold Car, Motor Cycle, government job is probably not qualified for a white card.

Newly formed AP State in the place of White Ration card food security card i.e Aahara Bhadratha card issued to the eligible persons. For this purpose, new guidelines finalized in the state cabinet meeting. The government already sent few of the proposals to Civil supplies department. Arogya Sri the past Medical cad, pay back and other schemes linked to ration cards. Now, the state government has decided to make the Food Security cards limited to ration purpose only. If this is likely implemented by state government chances of 10 per cent of the current 1.30 crore cards decreased.

These persons are not eligible for Food Security Card:
If one of the family person having these below lists, they’re declared as ineligible for Food security card says, State Civil Supplies department of Andhrapradesh.

• Four wheeler vehicle,
• Air Cooler
• Beyond 100CC motor bike
• Beyond 750 square yards residential land
• Government, Aided, Autonomous local institutions along with neighbor contractual services,
• Private Jobs
• Person getting Pension from government from any government sector
• Paying income tax
• Having two LPG cylinders
• Doctors
• Contractors,
• Professionals,
• Self-employed

The above persons are not eligible for the new Food security card in Andhrapradesh State.
However, for Food security card state government declared eligible conditions as follows:

• Homeless (Not having Own-House)
• Daily wage workers
• Single women,
• The disabled
• The destitute elders
• Women's working houses
• Contract labors etc.
