On this event the first Metro train of Chennai was driven by a 28 years old women A.Preethi qualified diploma in engineering from Government Polytechnic College Dharmambal.
Speaking to media A.Preethi father expressed his views ‘I am excited, my daughter’s dream has come true becoming a loco piolot of Metro Rail’.
Preethi was trained for a year and half like others here and in Delhi for the purpose to hit her target. Along with preethi three other women are also applied to this job.
