Giant Shopping network store Bigbazaar has announced that from 24th November, 2016 onwards all its stores allow customers to withdraw Rs.2000/- using their Debit ATM cards.
Cash withdrawal from Bigbazaar stores

Bigbazaar has tied up with the State Bank of India (SBI) and enabled mini-ATMs across all 260 stores to a help consumers withdraw cash. This move comes at a time when demonetisation of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes have slowed down consumer goods industry.

Through this benefit Bigbazaar shopping customers can withdraw money upto Rs.2000/- at its 258 Bigbazaar and fbb stores in over 115 cities and towns located across the country.

Bigbazaar in association with SBI enable this facility through the bank's cash at PoS machines. Consumers/Customers any bank debit card can withdraw money from their bank accounts.

In a statement FBB Chairman Kishore Biyani said, 'We are trying hard to ease any difficulties faced by customers due the demonetisation of Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes and support the government's initiative in meeting its objective. Now with customers being able to withdraw cash at Bigbazaar stores, they are welcome to visit our stores instead of queuing up at banks and ATMs'.

From 24th November onwards customers can visit the dedicated cash counter at bigbazaar store, swipe their ATM debit card and enter PIN to withdraw money upto Rs.2000/- from their account.

Note: The cash withdraw facility will be subject to all applicable restrictions imposed by banks, RBI and government of India from time to time.
