Corona intensity is high in Karnataka. Against this backdrop, the state government has taken a crucial decision. It has announced that it will be running a full Lockdown every Sunday from July 5.
The curfew will be from 8 pm to 5 pm. It has been reduced to one hour ahead of the 9pm nightly curfew. Saturday was also declared a holiday for government offices. This means they only work five days a week.
As of Sunday, the number of corona cases in Karnataka was 11,923, with 191 deaths. Against this backdrop, CM Yeddyurappa has directed the authorities to create a system for the provision of beds for the coronary patients.
Railway coaches, including Marriage Function Halls, Hostels and other institutions for Quarantine Centers are suggested. As the corona's presence in Bengaluru is so severe, 250 special ambulances have been set up to evacuate the coroners. The center, on the other hand, sent 15 medical teams to Karnataka.
