WiFi services began in Secunderabad Railway Station of Telangana State within a week

Good news for railway passengers Internet services implemented within a week at Secunderabad Railway Station and available to passengers through WiFi services.

Secunderabad railway station turns into internet hub with WiFi facility. Three years ago, the Railway authorities took the decision to provide internet access to the passengers. To get the proper frequency band from KU Band Transponder Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), this was approved in 2012. However, after examining the WiFi services experiment basis expand in full range in all areas.

On pilot project basis first six railway stations are selected one of the railway station is Secunderabad of Telangana State and the proper arrangement are under process. For half an hour WiFi facility is available to cellphone users at the railway station. After this period (half-an-hour) the network suppressed.

Station authorities also planning to set WiFi services in Nampally station after this pilot project.
