On March 20 this year, RBI released the official Payment System Operators list, saying there is no Google pay name.

Google Pay Money transfers has No Valid Certification?

Recently a petition was filed in the Delhi High Court saying the reserve bank was not officially confirmed. There are doubts about Google Pay whether it is official or not.

A petition filed by Abhijit Mishra on Google Pay app in the Hon'ble Delhi High Court.


Mishra's petition says, that the Google App e-payments and Settlements violated the law and that the app had no valid certification from the central bank to make money transfers. 


In addition it also, said to the Court, On March 20 this year, RBI released the official Payment System Operators list, saying there is no Google pay name.

The court of inquiry on Mishra's petition questioned the RBI why the Google app operation was being conducted without official verification.


The RBI has issued notices to Google India to give their response on the petition.
