JP Nadda unanimous elected as Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National president.
Senior BJP leader JP Nadda has been unanimously elected as the BJP's national president. At a function at the party headquarters in Delhi, senior leaders of the party, Union ministers and ministers of state-owned states unanimously elected him as the party's national president. Radha Mohan Singh, the BJP's electoral officer, handed over the appointment of Nadda as the new national president of the party.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah congratulated Nadda on the occasion. Nadda is currently serving as the BJP's executive president.

Nadda, who has been actively involved in the BJP's political activities since its inception, is well known in the party. The election of Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister and current party president Amit Shah is almost certain that he is the right person for the post. Amit Shah has been the BJP's national president for the past five and a half years.

He won the 2019 Lok Sabha election. He was given a Home Office in the BJP-led Modi 2.0 government. With the BJP embarking on the 'one man, one post' tradition, Amit Shah is now seeking a new person for the post of National President.
