Telangana News Today reported the Government of Telangana initiated construction of Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals in GHMC

As reported Telangana News Today, the Government of Telangana has initiated the construction of Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (TIMS) hospitals all over GHMC.

They are being constructed in Alwal, Gaddiannaram and Erragadda areas of Hyderabad. Chief Minister KCR on 26.04.2022 paid homage to the land for the construction of these hospitals. Ministers Harish Rao, Prashant Reddy, Sabita Indrareddy, several MPs, MLAs and other public representatives were present on the occasion.

Each hospital will be built on an area of ​​13.71 lakh square feet. Gaddy said Rs 900 crore has been earmarked for the hospital, Rs 897 crore for Alwal and Rs 882 crore for Erragadda Hospital. 


This measure was recently released by the Department of Health G.O. Alwal Super Specialty Hospital will be allotted 28.41 acres of land on which G Plus 5 floors will be constructed. Gaddy Annaram Hospital will be allotted 21.36 acres while G Plus will have 14 floors. Medical sources said 17 acres would be allotted to the Erragadda Super Specialty Hospital and a G-plus 14-floor building would be constructed here.


These hospitals offer all types of facilities and super specialty medical services. Each hospital will be built with 1,000 beds. PG specialty, super specialty seats, nursing and paramedical colleges are also available for medical education. 

The hospital to be set up in Alwal will provide better medical services to the patients coming from Sangareddy, Siddipet and Adilabad districts. LB nagar (Gaddi Annaram) Hospital will provide better medical services to the people of Khammam, Nalgonda and Suryapeta districts.
