Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav revealed that Balkampet Yellamma (Temple) Kalyanam will be held on July 5 in a grand style. The minister held a review on the welfare arrangements of Bulkampeta Ellamma with officials of various departments on Tuesday at his office in MasabTank.
Yeduru Kollu on July 4, Ammavari Kalyanam on July 5 and Rathodsavam on July 6. He said that arrangements were being made for the devotees to watch Amma's welfare live on TV. He directed the authorities to set up all facilities for the devotees attending the festivities.
He said peace would be monitored with heavy police provision as well as CCTV cameras. The Minister directed the Waterworks officials to monitor the temple premises without any sewerage leaks. He said road repairs should be undertaken from now on. During the festival, the minister suggested repairing power lines and removing tree branches to avoid any trouble.
For Holy Balkampet Yellamma Darshan, Minister ordered to issue passes with bar coding without resorting to duplicate the passes given for welfare.
Traffic and police officials have been directed to close the roads towards the temple and divert vehicles during the marriage and chariot festival.
DM-HO directed Venkati to set up five special camps under the auspices of the Medical and Health Department in the vicinity of the temple. The RTC runs special buses for the convenience of the devotees.
The meeting was attended by Revenue Commissioner Anil Kumar, Assistant Commissioner Krishna, EO Annapurna, Water Works Director Operation Krishna, CGM Prabhu, Secunderabad RDO Vasantha, Zonal Commissioner Ravikiran, Additional Traffic DCP Rangarao and Panjagutta ACP Ganesh.
