To fill Central government jobs in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has issued key directives to officials to fill vacancies in government departments across the country. 

It was suggested that 10 lakh appointments should be made on a war footing over the next one and a half years. The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) tweeted on Tuesday.

The key statement came from Modi after reviewing the human resource situation in all government departments.

Prime Minister Modi reviewed the human resource status of government ministries and departments. He then gave orders on 10 lakh appointments. 

The PMO has directed government departments to replace these posts on a war footing over the next one and a half years. Opposition groups called for a boycott of the assembly, citing "unemployment in the country." 

The Center will bring to the notice of the vacancies in various departments in the public sector. It was during this sequence that the latest directives on job placements arrived.
