Koti womens college hyderabad is now 'Telangana Womens University'

Koti womens college hyderabad has been named as Telangana Women's University i.e Telangana Mahila University affiliated to OU (Osmania University)

Koti womens college hyderabad Principal Prof. Vijjulatha said, that the newly established Women's University in the state has been named as Telangana Women's University i.e Telangana Mahila University. Koti Womens College, which has been affiliated to OU (Osmania University) for 98 years, will become the Telangana Mahila University (TMU) this academic year (2022–23). 

The decision was taken at a recent board meeting to allow the ongoing teaching and non-teaching staff at Koti Women's College to come to OU.

Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor of the Telangana Women's University has to be appointed. There is a serious delay in the work to be undertaken in the university due to non-appointment of VC. The number of colleges under the Women's university and the details of the courses have not been announced yet. 

Admission to various PG courses will be done through Dostu run by the State Board of Higher Education and TSCPGET conducted by OU. 

Telangana Women's university has also been included in the list of TSCPGET-2022 PG admissions. But due to details from Mahila University, the TS CPGET-2022 notification, which was supposed to be released on June 1st 2022.
