'Manasanamaha' set a record as the most award-winning short film. The short film has won 513 awards so far, more than any other short film.
The Guinness Book of World Records has issued a testimonial confirming this. Movie lovers who saw this movie which was screened as a reverse screenplay love story appreciated the director's effort.
In addition, the film was nominated for an Oscar last year. Viraj played a key role in the film, which was produced by Shilpa Gajjala. Raj's cinematography and Kamran's music add to the charm of the short film.
‘Manasanamah’ award winning story behind
Although director Deepak Reddy does not have a cinematic background, he has been interested in movies since childhood.
However, he did not want to hurt them at home or went to America to do masters. However, interest in the film did not diminish.
Deepak Shekhar, who was mostly inspired by RGV films, worked for about 40 days on Kammula's Fida 'America schedule.
It was during this time that he developed an understanding of filmmaking. After that he came back to India and made short films like 'Excuse Me', 'Hide and Seek'. However, ‘manasanamah’ is what I thought when I wanted to make any love story, said director.
One of the songs in 'Cupid', which came out in 2009, was shot completely in reverse. In the same way, Deepak felt that the story and emotions should be ‘manasanamah’ without being hurt.
The shooting was completed in 2019 and released on YouTube in January 2020. The filming time was just five days. Worked for a year for pre-productions and post production.
Telugu film directors Sukumar and Krishna, who saw this short film, praised Deepak's talent. Another director, Gautam Vasudeva Menon, is credited with translating and releasing this short film in Tamil.
