Telangana Gruhalakshmi Scheme new Guidelines announced, i.e at least five beneficiaries will be identified in each village and the first installment of Rs 1 Lakh. It is reported that one lakh will be given.
The Telangana government will soon announce the Griha Lakshmi Scheme, which will provide financial assistance of Rs 3 lakh to those who have their own land and build a house. There is a discussion in the authorities that the government is working in this regard.
It seems that CM KCR has finalized the guidelines of this scheme. There are decade celebrations till 22nd of this month. The housing authorities say that they will start the scheme once they are over.
At least five beneficiaries will be identified in each village and the first installment of Rs. One lakh. It is reported that one lakh will be given. The responsibility of finalizing the beneficiaries has been entrusted to the local MLAs.
The MLAs will have to finalize the village wise list and hand it over to the collector. It has already been announced in the Cabinet meeting and the Assembly that Rs.3 lakhs will be given in 3 installments for the construction of the house. It has been decided to give 3 thousand to each assembly constituency.
It was discussed in the cabinet meeting that the CM told the ministers that the guidelines of the Griha lakshmi scheme should not cause trouble to the people. Officials have finalized that beneficiaries are eligible if they have 100 yards to 250 yards in rural areas and 80 yards in towns.
It seems that the scheme has been named Griha Lakshmi with the intention of naming it after a woman. CM KCR entrusted Minister Harish Rao with the responsibility of finalizing the guidelines finalized by the authorities.
Everyone thought that a cabinet sub-committee would be formed with the ministers of Panchayat Raj, Municipal and Housing for this purpose. But it is reported that Chief Minister KCR has finalized these due to further delay.
