Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samiti - Festival Committee Chairman Singari Sudarshan, Convener Sandeep Raj, Organizer Singari Rajkumar and Vice President Mahesh Yadav made the announcement.

Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samiti general secretary Dr Bhagwant Rao urged the state government to take steps to ensure smooth Vinayaka Chaviti celebrations.
Police in Hyderabad, Cyberabad and Rachakonda commissionerates are harassing makers of Ganesha idols to prevent them from making statues bigger.He appealed to the people not to resort to such harassment as they live only on the making of idols throughout the year.
VHP state presidents Ramaraju and Bhagyanagar Ganesh Utsava Samithi vice-president Karodini Mali, secretaries Buchireddy, Mahender and Shashidhar spoke at a press conference at Somajiguda Press Club on Thursday.
He warned that Ganesha festivals have been creating controversy for ten years and will not be tolerated if Hindu festivals are suppressed. He said the High Court had issued orders on how to celebrate the festival and the government was not going to allow immersion in accordance with those orders.
They said they had filed a contempt of court case on this, but the government was not appearing in court. The government has been asked to submit a full report in the wake of another court hearing on May 24.
